Sometimes when we're learning to play the riffs of our favorite songs or we're trying to mimic our favorite guitarists, frustration builds because "it's just not sounding right" or "I'm not quite hitting it". In the Signature Riffs and Licks workshop we'll:
- Analyze and learn the riffs/licks/leads note for note.
- Discover neck/finger positions and what strings these riffs are played on.
- Examine the player's attack and tone used to achieve that "sound".
- Work on the timing and accuracy.
- Mimic the correct bends and inflections.
- Discuss why these riffs work so darn well for the song
