The Band Experience - Registration
SUMMER BAND JAM FUN-01 with BOB ELLIOTT

Have you wanted to jam in a band? Have you played in bands but lacked the opportunity to solo or improvise? Are you looking for some direction on how to jam with a band? This program will offer all of that and more. We present to you the Summer Band Jam Fun-01 program.
This custom program is based on our Band 101 Workshop Program but with a jam twist and an abbreviated schedule for the summer season.
All instruments will be open for registration except the drum kit. Any and all hand percussion instruments will be available as well as multiple guitar slots, bass, keys, and vocals.
This workshop will focus on the various aspects of jamming and the proper approach toward this exercise of musical practice.
The songs will be chosen from the 101 Book, and sent out prior to the first meeting. The Director will provide instruction on how the song will start and then advise some direction to the progression of the song with space for improvisation.
Whether you’re new to playing in a band, new to jamming, or you’ve dabbled but are looking to take your jamming to the next level, then this is the workshop for you. This is also a great opportunity to hone your skills on a secondary instrument.
While this is a 101-level workshop, we require guitarists and keyboardists to be familiar with basic major and minor chords, and everyone to be able to play in 4/4 time.
